Max and Page Conners are charming fraudsters-intriguers, hunters behind thick wallets of trusting simpletons. Victims of the mother and daughter were already many men. Max fascinates and marries a wealthy man, and the next morning Page enters the case, which, allegedly, seduces the newly-made husband. Of course, this is seen by Max, her heart is broken.
