During an unsuccessful attempt to rob an art gallery, a fire opal turns out to be in the hands of a thief, Morgana, with a genie trapped in it. The girl accidentally manages to wake him up from his sleep. After gaining freedom, the jinn takes on a human form and allows the police to arrest him. In prison, he begins to fulfill all the wishes of his cellmates. The genie needs to collect 1001 souls, after which he will be able to release other genies in order to enslave humanity and rule the world together. Morgana turns to the young priest Gregory for help, and they eventually join forces to confront the jinn. But the jinn manages to leave the prison and go to the Las Vegas casino for new souls...
