Eight years have passed since Batman disappeared into the night, turning from a hero into a fugitive in an instant. Taking the blame for the death of Prosecutor Harvey Dent, the Dark Knight sacrificed everything for what he and Commissioner Gordon thought was the only right thing. For a while, this lie worked, because the criminal world of Gotham was practically crushed by Dent's anti-criminal act. But everything changed when an insidious burglar with a mysterious past appeared in the city. At the same time, the appearance of Bane, a masked terrorist, whose ruthless plans for Gotham forced Bruce to interrupt his self-imposed exile, turned out to be much more dangerous. And even dressed in a suit and cloak again, he may not be able to stand up against Bane now.
