In Los Angeles, the daughter of a Chinese consul is kidnapped. The kidnappers demand a big ransom for the girl. And to get her back, the FBI is channeling its best forces. But the consul believes that this is not enough and invites the case of Inspector Lee from Hong Kong. FBI members decide to isolate the Chinese policeman, they are convinced that he will interfere with the investigation.
