Raccoon City is a city, something like a large industrial metropolis, built on the example of American cities. The city is fully controlled by the Ambrella Corporation. And almost all citizens somehow work in a global corporation. A terrible virus discovered by scientists in the first film, somehow gets into Racoon City. Panic begins.
