The New York writer Eddie Morra, who is experiencing serious problems in his career and personal life, accidentally meets an old acquaintance. He suggests that he change his life, thanks to the miraculous tablets called NZT. Eddie, realizing that he has nothing to lose agrees to take a pill. The tablet changes cardinally his life. Eddie's brain is capable of doing and creating supernatural things that open the door to the possibility of earning huge money. However, soon Eddie begins to suffer from the side effects of the drug ...
