In the pursuit of money, greed often drives people to bad things. Is well aware of the old evil millionaire named Joe McTeague. Their children and direct heirs, too. But, there are a bunch of close and distant relatives, who flock flocking around him, hoping to grab a tidbit of her uncle's inheritance. The old man is a pleasure to play with them in a cat-and-mouse. He hires a pretty young nurse Molly Richardson and favors her. Relatives in confusion. Molly is a clear and direct threat to their plans.
