Sliver / Щепка (1993)

Carly Norris in a hurry to meet with a realtor, who offered her excellent apartment in a prestigious district of new York. After the meeting, she calls the realtor and says that within a week the girl can move into a new apartment. Carly is a little surprised by such a quick response, but preparing to move. She met her new neighbor Zeke Hawkins, who helped her to carry things. And in the evening, Carly meets writer Jack Landsford who also happened to be her neighbor. Soon she learns that the previous resident of her apartment was murdered, as well as some other girls from this house. The police suspects a serial killer. After a while Carly begins to suspect that Zeke or Jack is the killer.
