Graduates of the Police Academy are young and full of determination, they receive their first assignment. Carey Mahoney and the rest of the characters graduated from the Police Academy, and work in a police station with a difficult criminal situation. The head of the station is Captain Pete Lassard. Mahoney has been at odds with Mauser since day one, who dislikes his penchant for cruel jokes. At this time, the city is suffering from banditry and mugging of Zed's gang, whom even his accomplices are afraid of. Mahoney infiltrates the gang to find out where Zed is organizing the raids from.
