RoboCop / Робокоп (робот-полицейский) (1987)

The action of the picture takes place in the near future. Violence and crime are not controlled in Detroit, the city is in a difficult financial situation, and the government contracts with the Omni Consumer Products megacorporation to finance and manage the police. The new owner is making plans to replace the "Old Detroit" with a modern utopia called "Delta City". But before starting this construction project, OCP must end crime in the city. Since this task cannot be assigned to an understaffed police department, OCP brings the ED-209 droid into the arena, which will end crime in Detroit. The show of force is disrupted when the droid goes out of control. In contrast, a project called "RoboCop" is being implemented. After the death of one of the best policemen named Alex Murphy, experimental doctors create an invulnerable cyborg Robocop from him.
