For twenty years, mankind has sent all-terrain vehicles (ATVs) to Mars, trying to find evidence that extraterrestrial life exists on this planet. The crew of the spacecraft, which went on a regular expedition, takes on board the next Mars rover, without even knowing what discovery awaits them ahead. The all-terrain vehicle delivers an unusual instance - a large single-celled one, which is indisputable evidence of the existence of extraterrestrial life. The astronauts are extremely happy with such a find and that it is they who will deliver this sample to Earth. However, the team soon discovers that a single-celled creature is intelligent and represents a huge danger. Now they have to do everything possible to survive and prevent the sample got to our planet...
