The picture tells about the rise and fall of the most famous adventurer and politician, the representative of American trade unions, Jimmy Hoffa. It was he who, during the reign of President Eisenhower, persuaded truck drivers to join his union. And during the reign of President Nixon, he tragically dies at the hands of hired killers. Between the thirties and seventies, many significant events took place in the life of Hoffa - a dizzying career, a struggle for rights, a conspiracy with the mafia, years of imprisonment and long-awaited freedom. Hoffa began his own way completely honestly, but then he had to face the real world of crime and great power, which live by their own laws.
